Well I just wanted to tell you all a little bit about our crazy summer........ We have been super busy and I was way excited when the kids went back to school but now boy..... Kylee has so much homework I never remember having that much in 6th grade. The poor kid doesn't even have a life. Between homework, housework, dance (competition team) two days a week and tumbling on Thur. I am even getting stressed for her. Then we have Kaycee who just breeze's through. She is in 3rd grade and doesn't have any homework but reading every night I keep telling her that her day is coming with the whole homework thing.
So our summer....... We went to the dunes a couple times and are going again Oct 3-5 which by the way is Jake's BIG 30 on the 5th....... Boy how time flies. He says I'm next but guess what I still have a full year (almost) OK lets see then me and Jake went to Beer Fest in Idaho back in June. We went to Bear Lake over the 4th couldn't even get the kids out of the Lake they loved it up there. Went to China Meadows over the 24th with both our parents, Jake's sister, My brother and family, Heather Brock and the kids and Tami and Benny that was a lot of fun too. But boy are they getting picky up there about kids riding the bikes and my brother shootin a 22. But we still made it fun the kids found a fort and some tree's to climb. I think the next trip was the bow hunt down in Beaver. Went with mine and Jake's parents and my brother. I saw a lot of deer but only got a couple shots and was way to nervous when I actually shot so I didn't get anything. But the hiking and the scenery was well worth it.........
Then we had Lake Powell with twelve of our friends. I posted some pictures of that. I wouldn't mind going back there again. They say you either love it or hate it for me I LOVED IT!!!
Then Jake and the girls went to Island Park the following weekend. Jake had some concrete to pour and they did some four wheelin but not much. I had a great weekend got my house cleaned (finally) went shopping in Park City with my mom and sister and read, read, read.......... I don't get to do that much when the family is home they seem to like all my attention..........
Well and then my girls trip to Colorado and those are always much needed girl time........ So I will try and be good about this blog and keep you all updated sometimes things just get so routine there isn't much to say other than the same old...... But maybe this will help me be better at writing and remembering the funny little things Kaycee Say's sometimes I wonder were she came from??? Feisty, loving, doesn't really take no for a answer oh the joys............. and then Kylee my timid, loving, and tries to please everyone..........
This is my layout for retreat up in Eden Oct 10 & 11. Us Consultant's due a swap. Let me know what you think? Or if it needs anything? I did copy from a very talented consultant on the board the 1st page I did change some small things on it though. Also this will be my Oct Workshop on Oct 18th.
